For people who would wanna know super over is basically tie breakers where each team gets to play 6 more pitches whoever scores more wins. This is a huge upset because Pakistan were finalists of last t20 world cup and this is USA’s first world cup. Us were comfortable for a while but then their inexperience was showing near the end where they almost bottled it and then they barely were able to tie it (needed 5 of last ball they hit a 4) and then in the super over Pakistan basically overheated with a lot of freebies and illegal deliveries which gave USA the runs (points which dictate the game of cricket) and then when bowling in Super Over by USA they held the nerves and won the game. All in all the best match of this World Cup so far—watch the highlights and enjoy 😀
Fan’s Perspective
I can’t even begin to tell you how big of an upset this is. If I was watching cricket for the first time I wouldn’t know US is playing its first World Cup. Granted, Pakistan made some serious mistakes, but you can’t take anything away from the USA team. Aaron Jones, Monak Patel, Andres Gous, Taylor, Ali, the bowlers, and the whole team played really well. The fielding was exceptional. Now they have chances of moving to the next round which no one was expecting. Please watch cricket, if not for the sport itself then just for the efforts these guys are putting. WHAT A BANGER OF A MATCH!!
