Summary

  • Some fans support Diarra’s choice, acknowledging his contributions to the team.
  • Others express concerns about his readiness for the NBA and wish he had stayed for another year.
  • The impact of non-citizens’ inability to make NIL money on player decisions is highlighted.
  • A fan speculates on Diarra’s potential future in France and the Olympics.

Fan Reactions

“It was expected that he was done with school. Good luck to Mo wherever he go. We wouldn’t have made the ACC or NCAA run without those rebounds,” said Brians_Stats.

“Really hate to see that. I don’t think he’s anywhere near being NBA ready. Raw talent, but he was way too reliant on settling for the 3 when he could’ve used his athleticism to drive to the rim and scored more there. Glad he was able to be a huge piece for the run, but I still think this is a mistake,” expressed pitter_patter_11.

Future Speculations

“He’s probably ending up in France…would be super cool if he somehow ended up on their Olympic roster inshallah. Absolute legend for this run though. His play was incredible,” pondered ClaudeLemieux.

“His name’s kinda like the wet poop word lol,” joked Shemptacular.
