Big Weekend For Cleveland Golf
There was another PGA event besides the Ryder Cup this weekend and it was a big one for Cleveland Golf. Not only did the winner (Bart Bryant) use Cleveland but the company also won the iron and wedge count.
Black Pearl Wedges By Cleveland Golf
Cleveland has just announced a new addition to their CG10 wedge line. The CG10 Black Pearl wedge will be available October 1st and will be available in 52, 54, 56 and 60 degree lofts. The Black Pearl finish is very similar to the current satin chrome on the CG10 wedges but it is duller to reduce glare.

Cleveland Golf has just come out with a new promotion celebrating Vijay Singh’s continued success. From now until December 31, anyone that buys a Launcher driver combined with any Cleveland fairway wood (stainless or titanium) will receive a free fairway wood (stainless or titanium).
Mizuno MX-17 Irons
Mizuno’s new MX-17 irons are set to be released in a few weeks. This has been called Mizuno’s most forgiving iron ever. The club features a wide sole, thick top line and a large offset designed for maximum forgiveness.

Mickelson Joins Callaway Golf
Well it’s official… Phil Mickelson has signed with Callaway Golf. He will now play Callaway equipment, wear Callaway footwear and gloves, and will have the Callaway name on his shirt, visor and bag.
Cleveland Golf To Sell TA Name
Cobra will keep their current woods through next year. The new equipment I mentioned in an earlier post should be available in Oct or Nov.

I got a sneak preview of the new Cobra stuff today. They will introduce 3 new irons soon. One looks a lot like the current Cobra SS-i and will be geared towards the better player. The second will go after the Ping G2 and Big Bertha irons.
