The return of the Mack. Callaway Golf recently announced the addition of Mack Daddy 2 to their wedge line last week. If you are unfamiliar with the Mack Daddy grooves, all you really need to know is that after Phil Mickelson hit this new groove design for the first time, these were the words that first left his lips to describe them. Phil’s 40 yard pitch shot has just sucked back forty feet. This design was incorporated into the Callaway X-Forged wedge design in 2006. But, after the new groove regulations in 2010, Callaway went back to the drawing board, and now we’re seeing the next generation of these wedges and their grooves. Mack Daddy 2 will be available at retail beginning July 12 for $119 each.

FINISH OPTIONS
The Mack Daddy 2 Wedge is available in two finish options, Chrome and Slate. The Chrome Finish produces a smoky, muted look that helps reduce glare. The Slate Finish is designed to oxidize over time for a distinctive look.
