Humor Among Racing Fans

”Just messed up, trying to get my windshield wiper on, missed a corner and ruined their day,” Bowman said during his postrace interview. Well, at least me and a NASCAR driver have the same amount of fumbly bumblys going on when trying to put on windshield wipers. ”Oh shit, that’s the hi-beams, goddamnit I’ve owned this car for six years, how do I keep screwing this up?”

Criticism towards NASCAR

There’s finally, FINALLY someone in the roster who has an ounce of personality more interesting than ”corporate spokesperson,” and this is what they do. Then they wonder why we all stopped watching a decade ago!

Support for Bubba Wallace

Only watch NASCAR occasionally, but Bubba is on the short list of drivers that I like. It seems like he gets way more than his fair share of hard hits from behind that knock him out of good position. I’m not saying that he races gentle, but he seems to get his positions the old-fashioned way, banging and rubbing and squeezing, and then it seems like every time I’m watching a race and he is in a good position, somebody brakes ”late” and smacks him hard in the left rear going into a corner and he ends up back in his default mid-teens position.
